The Battle of Stephaniana (May 1344) was a small-scale battle between the forces of trhe Serbian Empire and the Turkish allies of Byzantine emperor John VI Kantakouzenos. The commander on the Serbian side was Vojvoda Preljub in the service of Stefan Dushan. The skirmish was won by the Turks, but was not able to thwart the ongoing conquest of Byzantine Macedonia by Dushan.²
