Realm of Vuk Branković in the 14th century
States in the Central Balkans (including Realm of Vuk Branković) in 1373-1395

The Realm of Branković (Serbian: Област Бранковића Oblast Brankovića) or Vuk's land (Serbian: Вукова земља Vukova zemlja) was one of the short lived states that emerged from the collapse of the Serbian Empire in the 14th century. Founder and first ruler of this realm was Vuk Branković, medieval Serbian feudal lord who survived the Battle of Kosovo.

The Realm of Branković was located in the largest part of today's Kosovo. Vuk got areas of Raška (including the old Serbian capital Ras) and lands in Polimlje in present day northern Montenegro. The formation of the Realm of Branković was finished in 1378. After the death of Đurađ I Balšić, Vuk captured his cities of Prizren and Peć and the area of Metohija1. The most important cities in Vuk's Realm were Priština, Prizren, Peć, Skopje and Ras, as well as the rich mining settlements of Trepča, Janjevo, Gluhavica and others.2
